1. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING CROSSFIT AT CFFD?
I HAVE BEEN WITH CFFD SINCE FOR ROUGHLY 6 1/2 MONTHS.

2. WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT CFFD?
THE PEOPLE I WORK OUT WITH! I HAVE MEET SO MANY NEW PEOPLE WHO HAVE TURNED INTO FRIENDS OVER THE LAST SEVERAL MONTHS. AND THEY KEEP ME MOTIVATED TO COME TO EACH CLASS AND CHEER ME ON EVEN WHEN I’M DEAD LAST TO FINISH A WOD.

3. WHAT ARE SOME OF THE GOALS AND PROGRESS THAT YOU’VE MADE SINCE YOU STARTED CFFD?
AT FIRST IT WAS ABOUT LOOSING WEIGHT AND I DID. I WAS 204 LBS WHEN I STARTED NOW I WEIGH 160 EVEN. BUT NOW MY MAIN GOAL IS TO GET STRONGER AND CONTINUE TO WORK ON GETTING HEALTHY INSTEAD OF FOCUSING ON THE SCALE. I WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO A HANDSTAND PUSH UP AND HAND STAND WALK. AND I KEEP ADDING NEW THINGS I WANT TO BE ABLE TO DO AND ACCOMPLISH.

4. WHAT ARE YOUR TOP 2 FAVORITE MOVEMENTS, LIFTS, OR WOD’S AND WHAT ARE YOUR 2 LEAST FAVORITE?
MY TOP TWO FAVORITE MOVEMENTS ARE PROBABLY BURPEE BOX JUMPS AND SNATCHES. I AM ALWAYS EXCITED TO ADD WEIGHT ON ANY MOVEMENT. AND HONESTLY I LOVE ALL THE MOVEMENTS FROM WALL BALLS,DEAD LIFTS, AND EVENTUALLY I’LL MASTER A DOUBLE UNDER.
MY LEAST FAVORITE ARE RUNNING WODS! BUT I’VE GOTTEN BETTER!
OH AND THRUSTERS SUCK TOO!

5. POUR YOUR HEART OUT AND LET US KNOW HOW YOU’VE BEEN IMPACTED BY CFFD. ADD ANYTHING YOU WANT!
CROSSFIT HAS CHANGED ME MY LIFE STYLE ALOT. AFTER WORKING THAT HARD THE LAST THING I WANTED TO DO WAS RUIN MY WORK OUT WITH EATING JUNK! MY DIET HAS CHANGED DRASTICALLY FOR THE BETTER. I ALSO STRUGGLED WITH BIPOLAR DEPRESSION AND EVERYTIME I WAS SWITCHED TO A NEW MEDICATION I GAINED WEIGHT. IT GOT TO THE POINT WHERE MEDICATION WASN’T HELPING BECAUSE I WAS SO DEPRESSED WITH HOW I FELT ABOUT MYSELF AND HOW I LOOKED… SO I LOOKED INTO OTHER WAYS TO DEAL WITH DEPRESSION AND EVERYTHING I READ SAID EXERCISE…. BESIDES DROPPING 44 LBS. I AM NO LONGER ON ANY DEPRESSION MEDICATIONS. I FEEL BETTER. HAVE WAY MORE ENERGY, I AM HAPPIER AND AM HONESTLY IN THE BEST SHAPE I’VE EVER BEEN IN. I HAVE A WAY TO GO BECAUSE THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM TO IMPROVE BUT I AM VERY THANKFUL FOR THE PEOPLE AND FRIENDS I’VE MEET THROUGH CROSSFIT AND THE PROGRESS I’VE MADE AND KEPT ALONG WITH THE SELF CONFIDENCE I’VE GOTTEN THANKS TO CROSSFIT!!!! JOINING CFFD WAS ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I’VE MADE FOR MYSELF!
